Meet The Team
Hello I'm Claire.
I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of Longparish Little School for 25 years. During this time, I have had the privilege of seeing our little preschool grow and develop into the very special place it is today. I am incredibly proud of Little School and the wonderful community we have created.
As Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead, I am passionate about making sure that every child feels safe, welcomed, valued and able to be themselves. I strongly believe that young children need time and space to play, explore, become immersed in their experiences, try new things, test out ideas, be creative and develop a real passion for learning.
Outside of Little School, I love gardening, and I enjoy bringing my knowledge and enthusiasm for growing our own fruit and vegetables into Little School. I am also passionate about creating nature-rich spaces where children can discover and learn about the wildlife around them and develop a respect for the natural world.
For me, the early years are about giving children strong roots. When children are happy, secure and given the freedom to play, explore and discover, they develop the confidence, curiosity and resilience they need to become lifelong learners.

Hello I'm Kristy
I have worked at Little School since 2005 and am passionate about supporting children to thrive and reach their full potential.
I am the Deputy Manager of the setting and hold a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies, a Level 3 qualification in Speech and Language, and I am currently completing my Level 3 SENCO qualification. I also have a Level 2 qualification in Management Training and have studied Child Psychology.
As the school's Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), I have completed extensive training in a range of areas including Speech and Language Development, PECS, Autism, Memory Processing Difficulties, Word Finding Difficulties, Emotional Development, ELSA, Thrive, and many other specialist areas.
In addition to my SENCO role, I am the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Designated Lead for Looked After Children, and the school's Health and Safety Co-ordinator.
I also run our popular Physical Play Sessions on Fridays, providing children with opportunities to develop their gross motor skills, confidence, coordination, and enjoyment of movement through fun and engaging activities.
The ideal pre-school environment is one where children feel safe, secure, and valued. It should be a place where children can explore, experience new opportunities, develop their senses, and learn through play. I believe children learn best when they are having fun, taking appropriate risks, building resilience, developing confidence, and growing their self-esteem while being supported by caring, knowledgeable adults.
My aim is to ensure that every child feels happy, included, and supported to achieve their full potential, celebrating their individual strengths and helping them overcome any challenges they may face.

Hello, my name is Sylvia Condon and I am a qualified nursery practitioner. I live in Andover and I have just relocated from Sandhurst. I have worked with children in early years for 10+ years and I love my career. I think the main thing is that I am just a big child at heart and this really helps to build the relationships with the children and just have fun. My aim is to give the children the best start in their education and watch them thrive and grow. I have a little boy myself called Oliver and he is 7 and a little boy called Zach he is 2, so I have hands on experience at home also. I am the forest school leader on Wednesday and Thursday and woodwork on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Hello I'm Sheena. My youngest daughter was unable to settle at her nursery and I was fortunate to be able to stay within the setting until she felt safe and comfortable without me being there. I absolutely loved my time spent there, playing with the children, seeing them learn and engaging in new fun activities. I found it such so rewarding and knew it was something I would love to do.

Hello, I’m Renee. I am qualified to level 3 and have worked in Early Years settings for several years. I have 2 older sons who are now both at university. I am passionate about children having the opportunity to learn through play, building confidence by taking risks securely and cultivating friendships. I love to encourage creativity in the art/messy area and enjoy putting together intriguing sensory trays for the children to explore. I have introduced the pottery wheel to the children and run a selection of sessions on different days to ensure all children get to explore with clay.

Hi, my name is Sally, and I am the Business Manager for Little School, and also the Sustainability Lead. I handle all the admin to do with admissions, invoicing, and grant funding, and I am the person to contact if you have any admin queries or want to change your child's schedule. I look after the Little School accounts and manage the staff payroll as well.
I have worked for Little School since 2016. My own children (now both at uni) attended Little School and LOVED it! They had the best start at Little School thanks to Claire and the wonderful staff who work here, and it’s even better now than when they were little!
My working hours are:
Monday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Tuesday 9.00am to 12 noon (from home)
Wednesday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm

At times, we welcome apprentices and students to Little School as part of their professional training and development. These individuals work under the guidance and supervision of our experienced staff, and their presence helps support the next generation of early years practitioners.
We will always keep you informed whenever apprentices or students are working within the setting, ensuring transparency and maintaining the high standards of care you expect from us.
