30 hours free childcare
From September 2018, Longparish Little School will be offering the government 30 hours grant-funded childcare scheme to eligible children. To find out if you are eligible, and to apply for the scheme, visit https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds
As per the government guidance, we ask for a voluntary contribution for those taking up the scheme to help pay for the things your funding does not allow for. These include additional services such as our online learning journal Tapestry, our high staff ratio, and regular activities with external companies such as yoga, sports and storytelling sessions.
Those attending 16-20 hours per week: £4 per week
Those attending 21-25 hours per week: £8 per week
Those attending 26-30 hours per week: £12 per week
In order to claim your grand funded hours, you will need to apply via the digital childcare service and obtain your eligibility code. Without this you will be unable to claim the 30 funded hours. This must be completed the term before you want the funding to start.
